Alleged text messages from Tyler Perry from his sexual harassment lawsuit referenced his accuser’s body several times.

According to court documents reviewed by Complex, the 55-year-old filmmaker and playwright is being sued by The Oval actor Derek Dixon for quid pro quo, workplace sexual harassment, sexual assault and battery.

In the complaint, Dixon accused Perry of sending him “unsolicited photos” of Dixon’s body from the set of the TV show in 2021.

“Oh, my G-d look at think (sic) Derek. Thick,” read one of the alleged messages.

“Break out in ass and thighs,” read another.

Perry also allegedly referenced other actors in his texts, including, “Why did that photo [of Dixon and another cast member] make me jealous. You two together.”

Dixon reportedly explained he was on a walk with his co-star but was then “walking to chipotle by myself.”

“Thick Derek,” Perry allegedly replied. “Get that chipotle.”

Another alleged message from the Madea creator read, “No Straight man would be going on walks with you or cooking dinner for you unless they wanted to fuck you. I would fuck you.”

Dixon claims he met Perry at a 2019 event when Perry picked him from a crowd and asked for his number and suggested he may have a role for him, which later led to a part on The Ruthless in 2020.

That year, Dixon claims he was invited to Perry’s Atlanta home, where, after getting drunk and falling asleep in a guest room, Perry allegedly entered his bed and began touching his thighs.

Despite rejecting the advances, Dixon says Perry continued to pursue him, and cast him as Dale in The Oval. Dixon alleges Perry then sent him sexually suggestive messages and said he was seeking a real-life sexual partnership similar to Dale, a gay store clerk who is eager to sleep with other characters.

Out of fear for his career, Dixon responded cautiously that he “wasn’t that sexual.”

He also accused Perry of grabbing him by the throat during a sexually charged conversation later that year while allegedly saying, “Look how excited you just got.”

Perry’s attorney, Matthew Boyd, called the lawsuit a “scam.”

“This is an individual who got close to Tyler Perry for what now appears to be nothing more than setting up a scam,” Boyd said in a statement to TMZ. “But Tyler will not be shaken down, and we are confident these fabricated claims of harassment will fail.”

Dixon is seeking $260 million in damages.
