Bad Bunny Inks Deal With iHeartMedia for Podcasts Hosted by Latino Athletes

Bad Bunny has had an incredibly busy year, releasing an album, going on tour, winning multiple Grammy Awards and headlining the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. But now, the superstar is taking another step in his career as his sports and management brand, Rimas Sports, is expanding into the world of podcasting in a new partnership with iHeartMedia.

Rimas Sports, Bad Bunny’s sports management and brand alliance agency, has forged a partnership with iHeartMedia to produce original podcasts and content for My Cultura, iHeart’s podcast network dedicated to elevating Latino voices and stories. The first podcast under the pact, to debut early 2026, will feature Ronald Acuña Jr., a Venezuelan outfielder for the Atlanta Braves who was MLB’s 2025 Comeback Player of the Year.

Rimas Sports, co-founded by Bad Bunny and Rimas Entertainment executives Noah Assad and Jonathan Miranda, creates media covering Latin sports, entertainment and culture worldwide. Launched in 2023, the Puerto Rican sports agency says it’s “dedicated to building the next generation of great Latin American athletes.”

News of the deal comes after Bad Bunny made history at the 2026 Grammys as the first Spanish-language artist to win album of the year for his hit album “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.” On Sunday, he’s set to headline the Super Bowl LX halftime show.

In a statement, Acuña said of his upcoming podcast, “I’m super pumped about this! You know I love baseball, but I also love everything about being Latino, our vibe, the music that moves us, our family stories, and all the struggles we face every day. This podcast is my chance to open up, talk straight about the good stuff, the tough stuff, and what inspires us.”

The major leaguer added, “Plus, it’s a chance to kick it with people I really respect and who have a lot to share. I want everyone listening to feel like they’re just hanging out with me, ’cause that’s how I see my community. I’m ready to get started and show something real, something that really represents who we are.”

Rimas Sports has a roster of more than 45 elite athletes across a variety of sports. In addition to Acuña, those include MLB star Fernando Tatis Jr.; world No. 1 ranked padel player Agustín Tapia; Colombian motorsports champion Juan Pablo Montoya alongside rising star Sebastian Montoya; and 2025 WBO light middleweight world champion Xander Zayas. This month, the agency will officially expand into the NFL, welcoming its first class of pro football athletes.

“We’re excited to join iHeartMedia’s My Cultura for a podcast that goes beyond sports — covering culture, family and the stories that connect us as Latinos,” said Alejandro Padrón, director at Rimas Sports. “Having Ronald Acuña lead the first show marks the start of authentic conversations that inspire and bring fans closer to the talent and vision of our athletes.”

Leo Gomez, head of iHeartMedia’s My Cultura Podcast Network, said that sports “aren’t just something the Latino community watches, it’s something we live.”

“Sports are part of the culture, heritage and legacy that is woven into who we are,” Gomez said. “Partnering with Rimas Sports on amazing audio content curated by Bad Bunny and his team will allow us to bring sports and pop-culture icons like Ronald to listeners everywhere and share richer stories about how Latinos experience, elevate and redefine sports every day.”

All of the shows in My Cultura’s lineup are distributed by iHeartPodcasts, which is also home to the NFL Podcast Network, iHeart Women’s Sports, Stephen Curry and Erick Peyton’s Unanimous Media podcast slate, NHL series and other sports-focused podcasts.

The My Cultura Podcast Network launched in May 2021 in collaboration with Enrique Santos, an iHeartMedia on-air personality and president and chief creative officer of iHeartLatino. Since its launch, My Cultura has been joined by Wilmer Valderrama and Eva Longoria and her studio Hyphenate Media Group as investors.

The My Cultura network’s more than 60 podcasts include “Chiquis and Chill,” “Starring: Desi Arnaz & Wilmer Valderrama,” “Latino USA,” “Radio Ambulante,” “The Moment with Jorge Ramos and Paola Ramos,” “Enrique Santos Podcast,” “You vs. You with Lex Borrero” and “Hungry for History with Eva Longoria and Maite Gomez-Rejón.”
