Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Together Again?: Ex-Couple Has 'Fallen Back Into It' as They Try to Manage 'Complicated' Relationship

Sorry, millennials, it sounds like we’re going to have to wait a little longer for Bennifer 3.0. Despite what you may have heard, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are not getting back together. At least not right now.

Earlier this month at the New York City premiere of her new film, Kiss Of The Spider Woman, Affleck showed up to support his ex-wife. However, when rumors started to brew about a possible reunion, an insider told PEOPLE, “Jennifer’s doing well. She’s focused on things that make her happy — family and work. She always enjoyed working with Ben, this hasn’t changed [but] there’s no romantic reunion with Ben.”

The source added, “They’re in a really good place. They continue to support each other. They’re both proud of what they accomplished together.”

Affleck and Lopez met in 2002 and their romance began soon after. They got engaged that same year, but called things off by January 2004. She went on to marry Marc Anthony from 2004 through 2014. The pair welcomed twins, Max and Emme, while Affleck married Jennifer Garner from 2005 until 2018. They had three kids together; Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.

The “All I Have” singer and the Gone Girl actor reunited romantically in 2021 and wed in July 2022 after a two-month engagement. By August 2024, he’d moved out of their shared home and she filed for divorce. The split was finalized in January 2025.

Affleck did praise his ex’s performance in Kiss Of The Spider Woman. He called her “incredible,” and added, “My goal was to empower great artists and tell moving stories and create opportunities for these kinds of great stories to be told and to work with the best directors in the world and the best material. In this movie, we did all that, and it’s an honor to be here.”
