Brandy‘s long-awaited memoir, PHASES, is almost here.

Hanover Square Press announced on Thursday (Sept. 18) that the book, co-written by Gerrick Kennedy, will hit shelves on March 31, 2026, and unveiled its cover.

From her McComb, Mississippi upbringing to landing her first record deal at the tender age of 14, going platinum at 15, starring in a hit sitcom, and making history as the first Black actress to portray a Disney princess, the book will cover all of the singer’s decorated highs and previously shielded lows.

“I am so excited to finally share my full story in book form,” Brandy said in a statement. She later expressed on Instagram: “This project has been such a personal journey for me, and seeing it come to fruition like this feels surreal. Life has taken me through so many highs and lows, twists and turns, and each phase has shaped who I am today. I hope my story resonates with you, reminding us all that even in the toughest times, there’s light on the other side. Let’s embrace every phase together!”

First announced back in January, Brandy said on Instagram, “Writing my memoir was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. I allowed myself the space to be fearless and vulnerable to reveal some of my most intimate moments. For the first time, I am sharing my story—honest, unfiltered and not through the lens of media or critics.”

She described the memoir as “more than a book,” calling it “a reflection of resilience, hope, and rediscovering myself beyond the fame, the music and the spotlight.”

It’s currently available for pre-order.
