Pop superstar Chappell Roan has shared her devastation after having to cancel her concerts in Amsterdam and Paris.

On Thursday, Aug. 29, the rising pop star, 26, who is currently on her Midwest Princess Tour, announced that her shows in Paris and Amsterdam — which were scheduled for Sept. 3 and Sept. 4, respectively — are now canceled “due to scheduling conflicts.”

She also announced that her Berlin show, originally scheduled for Aug. 31, will now be held on Sept. 23. Additional tickets will be available for the rescheduled show starting Aug. 30.

The “Pink Pony Club” singer shared the news in a statement on Twitter, calling the cancellations an “extremely hard decision.”

“I am so sorry & very disappointed :( I promise I will be back,” she wrote. “I’m heartbroken 💔 thank you for understanding.”

In a reply to the original statement, Roan shared further details for those who planned to attend the now-canceled dates.

“Ticket holders for Paris and Amsterdam – refund will come from point of purchase,” she added. “Berlin, your tickets will be automatically transferred over to the new date.”

The “Good Luck, Babe!” singer did not state what “scheduling conflicts” led her to cancel and reschedule the tour dates, but it could have to do with her upcoming MTV VMAs debut.

She is slated to perform at the awards show on Sept. 11, after which she will kick off the European leg of the Midwest Princess Tour on Sept. 13 in Manchester.

Then, she will continue the leg with stops in Glasgow, Dublin and London, before wrapping with her rescheduled Sept. 23 Berlin show.

After returning from Europe, the rising star has even more upcoming shows, including music festival appearances at Austin City Limits and both the New York City and Washington, D.C., iterations of All Things Go Music Festival.

News of Roan’s rescheduled and canceled tour dates comes after the singer has made headlines not only for her ongoing musical success and memorable performance moments, but also a recent post addressing “predatory” fan behavior.

On Aug. 23, the “Casual” artist shared a lengthy Instagram statement asking fans to respect her boundaries regarding “nonconsensual physical and social interactions.” The post came after she sparked an online debate with a series of TikTok videos calling out “creepy behavior" on Aug. 19.

“I just need to lay it out and remind you, women don't owe you s---," she said. "I chose this career path because I love music and art and honoring my inner child, I do not accept harassment of any kind because I chose this path, nor do I deserve it.”

“I don't agree with the notion that I owe a mutual exchange of energy, time, or attention to people I do not know, do not trust, or who creep me out — just because they're expressing admiration,” she explained elsewhere in the lengthy post, before clarifying that she was referring to “predatory behavior (disguised as ‘superfan’ behavior).”

Fans are calling BS on her apology, saying the reason she canceled is because she wants to go to the MTV VMas, and wanting to perform with Olivia Rodrigo, who has 15 days left on her European shows.

I've also seen people use her grievances against her, saying if she despises fame so much, why is she so hellbent on attending the VMA's? If she were scheduled to perform there then she needs to fufill her obligations.

However, I'm sure those tour dates were booked long before her VMA performance, so her European fans have every right to be upset, especially with the money they shelled out for a concert ticket, hotel room, and plane ticket.
