Dan Trachtenberg’s ‘Predator: Badlands’ Streams on Hulu Next Week

Predator: Badlands will stream on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ internationally next Thursday, February 12.

In addition, fans can stream every entry in the Predator franchise on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in a special Predator collection tag. This includes Prey and the animated anthology, Predator: Killer of Killers and 15 themed Predator themed-creator videos.

Directed by Dan Tractenberg, Predator: Badlands follows a young Predator named Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) as he forms an unlikely alliance with Weyland-Yutani synthetic Thia (Elle Fanning) to survive a hostile alien planet. Predator: Badlands opened in theaters on Nov. 7, 2025, and became the highest-grossing film in the Predator franchise with $184.5 million worldwide, surpassing the $177.4 million record set by Alien vs. Predator back in 2004. Predator: Badlands scored an 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. See the official announcement trailer below:

Predator: Badlands is arriving on Disney+ 97 days after its theatrical release. This 90+ release window has become the standard for Disney titles to debut on the platform. Predator: Badlands has been available for digital rental and purchase since Jan. 6, 2026. It will be available for purchase on physical home video formats, including DVD, Blu-ray, and Ultra HD Blu-ray, starting February 17, five days after its Disney+ debut.

Predator: Badlands Hulu release is perfectly timed for Valentine's Day and Presidents' Day weekend. With Disney and 20th Century Studios not having a major movie in theaters over the three-day holiday weekend, Predator: Badlands is positioned as the company's big title for at-home viewing. The hope is that Predator: Badlands' audience will increase once it arrives on streaming, which in turn will drive demand for more Predator films that audiences will go see in theaters.

The Predator franchise has certainly seen a creative renaissance. Director Dan Tractenberg's three Predator entries of Prey, Predator: Killer of Killers, and Predator: Badlands have seen the sci-fi horror franchise earn some of the best reviews in its nearly 40-year history. As of right now, there is no official word on a Predator: Badlands sequel or a new film in the franchise from director Dan Trachtenberg. However, rumors have floated about a new Alien vs. Predator film.
