The music mogul—whose sex trafficking trial will begin with jury selection May 5—received permission from the judge to be given new clothing to wear in the courtroom.

Combs, 55, is "permitted to receive non-prison clothing" to wear for his trial, per the order obtained by E! News April 30.

While he's able to sport business casual attire in the courtroom, the judge did place limitations on how many items Combs can receive for his wardrobe.

Per the order, "He is permitted to have up to five button down shirts, up to five pairs of pants, up to five sweaters, up to five pairs of socks, and up to two pairs of shoes without laces to wear to court."

And it's not the only way Combs may be changing his appearance for the high-profile case. He also recently debuted greying hair in a rare courtroom appearance in March, stepping out in a beige-colored jumpsuit, a grey beard and aging hair, as seen in courtroom sketches.

Combs—who has pleaded not guilty to federal charges related to racketeering, prostitution and sex trafficking following his arrest in September 2024—recently attempted to move his trial from May to July in order to review evidence, but his request was denied because the start date is rapidly approaching.

Opening statements are expected to begin on May 12.
