The 12 queens competing on season seven – Catrin Feelings, Tayris Mongardi, Sally TM, Silllexa Diction, Pasty, Nyongbella, Paige Three, Elle Vosque, Viola, Chai T Grande, Bonnie Ann Clyde, Bones – were announced towards the end of August.
Returning to preside over proceedings will be Mama Ru herself. Joining her to judge the queens on their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, are Michelle Visage, Alan Carr as well as Graham Norton.
On Wednesday (3 September) the BBC started unveiling the special celebrity guest judges who will be joining RuPaul and co.

First up is British comedian and TV host, Joel Dommett, who makes a return as a guest judge. His announcement pulled a variety of reactions from “Phwoaaaar” from Drag Race UK season six winner Kyran Thrax to “This feels very hetero,” from another follower.
The next guest judge to be announced was comedy queen Michelle de Swarte. The bisexual former model and now writer-comedian makes her Drag Race UK debut. “YES,” responded one fan while someone else put, “LOOOOVE.”
Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle is also making her return to the drag competition. But it’s her first time as a guest judge, she last appeared during season 3’s Snatch Game episode. “So iconic!” wrote one fan.
Coyle was soon followed up by the reveal of Absolutely Fabulous‘ Jane Horrocks making her Drag Race UK debut.
Joining them are Derry Girls actress Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, West End star Mazz Murray and Enola Holmes actress Susan Wokoma.
Plus, choreographer Claudimar Neto, DJ Jordan North and Sugababes singer Mutya Buena.

An initial teaser for season seven was released in August. This was then followed by the cast announcement.
A formal season seven premiere date has yet to be announced. Past seasons have typically begun airing in September, streaming weekly until late November. So the wait could be nearly over…
