Drake Von Charged With Felony Robbery, Now Faces 27 Years In Prison

Award-winning gay adult performer Drake Von has been arrested for a second time this month after being charged with driving under the influence in Las Vegas.

Gay-for-pay porn star Drake Von, whose legal name is Dawson Bacon, appeared in a Clark County courtroom this morning to be formally charged following his arrest earlier this month for allegedly beating his girlfriend in their Las Vegas home, and Str8UpGayPorn can now confirm that in addition to the first three counts already reported, Bacon has been charged with two more counts today: Felony robbery and misdemeanor domestic battery. That’s an additional domestic battery count, and it’s not yet known if this means there was a second victim, or if it’s for a second instance of battery on the same victim. It’s also not yet known whom Bacon is accused of violently robbing, but Str8Up is working to obtain the full criminal complaint for complete details.

Bacon’s three initial counts were felony domestic battery by strangulation, felony coercion of domestic violence using physical force, and misdemeanor domestic battery. In the formal complaint today, the prosecution left all three of those charges in place while adding felony robbery and the additional domestic battery count. Felony robbery—a violent crime in which a suspect takes property from someone using force, violence, or threat—carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison in Nevada. If convicted on all three felony counts, Bacon faces a total of up to 27 years behind bars.

As Str8Up reported exclusively on Monday this week, Dawson Bacon was also charged with DUI after being arrested over the weekend. Bacon denied that he was drinking when he was arrested, but according to a police report obtained by TMZ shows that officers allegedly found 13 nitrous oxide tanks, as well as balloons and rubber bands, inside the Tesla that Von crashed.

The 23-year-old agreed to a sobriety test, and the body cam footage obtained by the outlet shows him being led out of an emergency room in handcuffs before a police officer pats him down and puts him in the back of a police car.

Von was charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI after reportedly crashing his car into another vehicle. Photos released to TMZ show the passenger door smashed in.

That case is pending and expected to be handled separately out of court. A status update on the robbery and domestic violence case is scheduled for July 1st, and Bacon is not due in court for that hearing.

During his appearance today for the criminal complaint filing, Bacon was forced to submit to DNA testing, which is now the law in Nevada for anyone arrested on felony charges. Bacon’s DNA profile will be entered into an FBI database for storage and additional testing. The full docket including today’s events and the additional charges is below. This is a developing story…
