Tim Kruger — a gay adult film star, pioneer, and entrepreneur legally named Marcel Bonn — has reportedly died from a "tragic, yet simple accident at home." He was 44.

Kruger was born on January 25, 1981 in Dusseldorf, Germany. The actor, producer, and director appeared in his first adult film back in 2006, first appearing in scenes at studios like TitanMen, and eventually starring in over 350 videos at TimTales after launching the site in 2009 with the help of his longtime partner Grobes Geraet.

The red-head, who stood about 6ft tall with a hairy chest, originally trained in business administration before travelling to Berlin and discovering his future in the sex industry while working in a porn store. In an interview he once said: “It’s a great gift to have a cock like this but you also have to know how to use it. And sometimes you can’t help but think it’s the only reason people want to sleep with you, which can be kind of depressing if you don’t have a healthy self-image.”

A statement, presumably written by Geraet, was posted on the TimTales blog on Saturday, March 1, 2025:

After news of the tragic accident started to spread words of condolence, praising Kruger and his kindness, immediately started flooding social media from fans and from those who worked with him in the adult film industry.

Translation of Alexandro Cabrera’s words:

Death is not something that is overcome, it is experienced, allowing oneself to be accompanied in that process, without running away from it, without pushing it aside, without delaying it. Without evading the pain, leaving it with us because that is the best representation of unexpressed love, always remembering the incredible, tender and beautiful human being that you were. Remembering that you were the first person in the industry who invited me to work in your studio @timtales_com, you trusted me and since then you became a reference and support in my career. Love from the pain of loving you, I am in mourning and for me mourning is nothing more than love refusing to die. From empathy and affection, to all those who suffer your physical absence, a hug.

Rest in peace.
