Gay Pandemonium Arises As Tickets For Kylie Minogue's Vegas Residency Finally Go On Sale

Updated: Aug 10, 2023

On wednesday morning, tickets went on sale for Kylie Minogue's highly-anticipated Las Vegas residency at The Venetian Resort’s brand new venue Voltaire and I have some thoughts.

While I am glad that Kylie is finally getting to showcase her inner-showgirl for an American audience, and the gays having a meltdown trying to snag tickets (the site actually crashed from all the traffic) the way they're going about presenting the international pop icon isn't sitting right with me.

First, just be aware that Voltaire only holds 1,000 seats. Second, she's only doing ten shows. Third, you have to be 21 and older to see her show (which means if Kylie has younger fans you're not going to be able to experience the Impossible Princess live) there's a strict dress code upon arrival, and the best seats in the house go for $2,000 with general admission (read: standing room only) priced at $200.00

Voltaire packages include:

  • A two-night stay in a suite at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

  • An exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Voltaire

  • $200 dining credit for select restaurants at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

  • Las Vegas airport arrival and departure transfers

  • Special commemorative gifts

  • A reserved table at Voltaire to see Kylie Minogue

Kylie’s Las Vegas residency will take place on November 3, 4, 10, 11, December 8 & 9, and January 19, 20, 26, and 27.

No word on if she plans to add more dates, but with these prices, maybe Kylie is trying to show American investors that she's a bankable pop act, and they'll invest some money in a proper American tour.

Either way, for regular fanso who can't make it because there aren't many dates, and they have ther financial obligations, I'd wait to see her in Europe next year once she launches the Tension tour.
