Gypsy Rose Blanchard Involved in Car Crash weeks After Baby Daddy Ken Urker’s Death

The Louisiana State Police Department (LSPD) confirmed to PEOPLE that authorities were called to a minor crash involving Blanchard, 35, in Terrebonne Parish on Saturday, Oct. 17.

The collision between Blanchard and a man, whose identity has not been shared publicly, resulted in minor property damage.

No injuries were reported, and the LSPD confirmed no arrests were made.

According to TMZ, which was first to report the news, a Facebook user posted about the alleged crash, writing in a message, “2026 is wild. Just got sideswiped by Gypsy Rose. FML.”

The car collision incident occurred weeks after Blanchard’s partner, Ken Urker, died on Oct. 1 — his 34th birthday.

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSD) previously confirmed to PEOPLE that officers were called to a residence in Raceland at around 6:15 p.m. local time, and Urker was found “dead upon arrival.”

Blanchard reportedly sent Urker a “happy birthday” text and did not receive a response, per TMZ. He was later found by Blanchard’s brother, Dylan, and his wife when they arrived at the home.

Urker’s sister, Autumn, later went live on TikTok on Oct. 1 to confirm her sibling’s death. She said his last words to her were, “I love you.”

Blanchard and Urker — who first connected when Blanchard was still in prison for the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard — shared a daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, whom they welcomed in December 2024.
