Lil Nas X isn't the only musician facing the firing squad of the religious elite, because Jason Derulo is the latest musician under fire for incroporating religious imagery in his artwork.
Almost a decade after his last studio album, Derulo is set to release his fifth album Nu King sometime this year. However after releasing the album's cover art people took to social media to call out the 'Talk Dirty' singer for 'mocking Jesus.'
As of now Jason hasn't addressed the album cover backlash. It's just as well he stay quiet, since he did such a bang up job defending his character in that teleprompter video where he denied he forced Emaza Gibson to sleep with him after signing her to his label.
Well at least we know the outrage is universal regardless of who incorporates religious imagery in their work, because I was ready to call out these so-called hypocrites on their outrage.
As for why Jason is doing it - he's doing it because it will bring attention to his mid pop music. Jason has always come across as a poor man's Usher, and this is the only way his clout chasing behind can go viral on social media.
