Jeezy Files For Divorce From Jeannie Mai After Two Years Of Marriage

From the looks of things, it seems that TV personality Jeannie Mai may have been blindsided by her divorce from rapper Jeezy.

Earlier this week, Jeannie was on social media gushing over Jeezy and his new book.

“Today I celebrate a remarkable milestone achieved by my husband, @jeezy, whose memoir ‘Adversity For Sale’ has soared to the New York Times bestsellers list,” she captioned an Instagram video of herself praying with their 1-year-old daughter, Monaco.

“Your story has always been an inspiration to me, but seeing it in print has left me even more in awe of your strength and wisdom,” she added. “You invited us into the most intimate corners of your life, where pain and triumph coexist.”

The former “Real” co-host, 44, praised the wordsmith for his “storytelling” skills and said she was “endlessly grateful” for his “voice in this world.”

“Honored to walk beside you my love,” she concluded the sentimental post

Jeannie Mai gushed over her “love” Jeezy and his new book just nine days before the rapper filed for divorce.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six Friday, the “My President” rapper stated that he and the TV host were separated and their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”

He asked for joint legal custody of their daughter, Monaco, and asked for their prenuptial agreement to be upheld.

Jeezy and and Mai began dating in 2018 and tied the knot three years later in an intimate ceremony at their Atlanta home.

The pair welcomed Monaco in January 2022, but did not share her name or any photos until five months after her birth.Though the note made the couple seem to be madly in love — with Jeezy, 45, even commenting two red heart emojis — he shocked the world by filing for divorce from the talk show host about a week later.
