Talk about a blast from TV’s past ... "Star Search" is strutting back into the spotlight and has unveiled a celebrity-packed judging panel to officially usher in its shiny reboot.

Netflix is reviving the iconic talent show, Star Search, and it’s shaping up to be pretty major. We already knew that Emmy-award-winning actor Anthony Anderson would be hosting the five-week competition series. Now, the streamer just announced the panel of judges, and they’re seriously rolling out the red carpet. It’s stacked with A-listers, but will they actually discover a star?

Netflix’s Star Search has announced Jelly Roll, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Chrissy Teigen for their panel of judges. That’s a lot of talent in one room. You’ve got a Grammy award winner, an Emmy award winner, and John Legend’s wife. That’s major!

Netflix originally set the premiere date for January 13, but they suddenly pushed it back to January 20. Now that we see this star-studded lineup of judges, we’re totally fine with the wait. We’ll be seated for this.

After more than 20 years off the air, Netflix’s Star Search will serve as a modern reimagining of the iconic talent show that served as an early platform for icons like Britney Spears and Beyoncé. They’re hoping to find the next big thing, and you’ll be able to play a part in who makes it to the end.

For the reboot, episodes will air live on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, featuring performers from various categories, including dance, music, variety, comedy, magic, and juniors. They’ll all go head-to-head, with weekly eliminations. Those of us watching from home will be tasked with voting for our favorites, so we’ll have a direct hand in deciding who moves forward and who gets the chop. No pressure!

Star Search premieres live on Netflix on January 20.
