Julia Garner and her husband, Mark Foster, have reportedly separated after more than six years of marriage.

A source confirmed the news to PEOPLE. Representatives for both Garner and Foster did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly’s requests for comment.

The Ozark star, 32, and the Foster the People frontman, 42, first met at the Sundance Film Festival and got engaged in April 2019. Eight months later, they tied the knot at New York City Hall.

“I love pantsuits, and I always thought that if I were to get married in a courthouse, I wanted to wear one,” Garner told Vogue of her wedding looks at the time. “I wanted a Carrie Bradshaw moment. But of course for the party, I wanted something more soft and feminine.”

At their nuptials, they danced to “Lovers in a Stream,” which Foster recorded as a surprise for her. “Mark wrote, produced, and sang it. It was very surreal, and the most beautiful present I’ve ever received,” Garner told Vogue at the time. “It felt like I was floating up in the air—it was the most magical moment I’ve ever had. The only people who heard this song were at the wedding, but it will come out soon. It’s a beautiful love song, and I’m excited for the world to hear it.”

Following her successful run on Ozark, Garner starred in the critically acclaimed Weapons last year, which earned Amy Madigan an Oscar. Garner was reportedly set to play Madonna in the highly anticipated biopic, but the film was scrapped at Universal Pictures following budget disputes. She is next starring in the Netflix series The Altruists.

Foster will head out on the Good Mourning Sunshine tour this fall with Foster the People. He’s also been abroad performing FTP DJ sets.
