Kill Bill Icon Vivica A. Fox Calls for a THIRD Film as She Compares Grueling Training on Quentin Tarantino Film to the Olympics

Vivica A. Fox, who starred as Vernita Green in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, and is currently starring in the revenge film Is God Is has rallied for a third film in a new interview.

Kill Bill icon Vivica A. Fox would 'love' to revisit her role of assassin-turned-housewife Vernita Green.

It's been 22 years since Fox last portrayed the woman who betrayed Beatrix 'The Bride' Kiddo (Uma Thurman) in the iconic Quentin Tarantino films Kill Bill and Kill Bill: Volume 2.

Vernita was one of the assassins who The Bride sought retribution from four years after the backstabbing and had completely changed her life by the time she was tracked down.

She was a stay-at-home-mom in suburban Pasadena, California and was killed by a knife The Bride threw into her chest after she attempted to fight back with a gun hidden in a cereal box.

Now Fox has revealed how Vernita's story could continue in a possible sequel - along with the grueling training she underwent to portray the skilled assassin.

'I'd love for us to be able to do Kill Bill three soon,' she told The Daily Mail in an exclusive interview.

While her character died in the first film, Fox suggested her character could make a return as a presence warning her daughter about the cereal box.

'I need to be a little cloud over there telling my daughter, "Girl, don't go for that cereal box. Watch out now." Or flashback scene of me showing her some of my killer skills that I learned being a killer before I turned into a housewife.'

It was a dream film for Fox who was 'thrilled' to join the cast of: 'I was thrilled to be honest with you when I got cast in Kill Bill, just to be able to work alongside Uma Thurman, Daryl Hannah, Lucy Liu and directed by the incredible Quentin Tarantino,' she said.

Fox prepared for six months to get into fighting shape in training she compared to the Olympics: 'Honey, that was six months of training. It better turned out good!'

'I thought we were like training for the Olympics, but everyone was so dedicated, check their egos at the door, and that's why the film has become a classic.'

When asked if there had been any talk of a third Kill Bill, Fox said: 'Keep putting it out there in the universe, we just need for Quentin to pick it up and make another.'

Fox has remained in touch with the legendary filmmaker 'over the years' since working together on the two films.

'Over the years, yes, definitely,' she said. 'I get invited to events celebrating him and his career. And you know, his contributions as a filmmaker is just undeniable.'

It would be another film Fox would have to squeeze into her jam-packed schedule.

From returning to Days Of Our Lives to a starring role in the thriller Plan C, Fox is busier than ever nowadays - and just a few months before celebrating her 62nd birthday.

In an industry that has long been obsessed with staying young, Fox insists the era of actresses being put 'out to pasture' at age 40 is becoming a thing of the past.

In an industry where women of a certain age struggle to find leading roles, Fox insists society is relinquishing it's obsession on archaic beauty standards - with female 'baby boomers' now taking center stage.

'There used to be a time in Hollywood that once you turn 40, they put you out to pasture, like you couldn't get it no more and like you weren't still desirable,' she told The Daily Mail.

'I'm so glad with the baby boomers that we have of today from your girl, Vivica A. Fox, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Lopez,' she said. 'Look at Meryl Streep! 70 in Devil Wears Prada, who's just killing the game and owning the scene! Fashionable and still desirable and fun! And loving life!

'Life doesn't end when you start aging. If anything, it's empowering. You're blessed to age, and that's what we've got to let the younger generation know that it is a blessing to age.'

Fox, who will be turning 62 on July 30, called for an appreciation of all 'chapters' of life - and insisted one can still be 'sizzling at 70.'

'I believe that you can be fabulous at 50, sassy at 60, even more sizzling at 70 and awesome at 80. What you do and how you live your life is a journey that you own, and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Embrace all the chapters.'
