Kroy Biermann Files For Divorce from Kim Zolciak For a THIRD Time After She Fees County

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's divorce has been in process for almost two years.

The former NFL lineman has filed for divorce from the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum for the third time, according to documents obtained by E! News Feb. 21.

In the paperwork—this time filed in the Cobb County of Georgia—Biermann, 39, described their relationship as being "irretrievably broken" and said the pair now live in separate residences.

"Petitioner and Respondent were lawfully married on or about November 11, 2011," read the divorce petition, "and since that date lived together as husband and wife until approximately the filing of this Complaint, at which time they were separated and since have lived in a bona fide state of separation."

Additionally, Biermann asked for child support and requested primary custody of his and Zolciak's kids Kroy Jr., 14, and Kash, 13, as well as their 12-year-old twins Kaia and Kane—all four of whom currently reside with the retired Atlanta Falcons player, according to the filing. (The couple's eldest children, Brielle, 28, and Ariana, 24—Zolciak's daughters from previous relationships who Biermann adopted after they tied the knot—no longer live at home and have "both reached the age of majority," per the docs.)

E! News reached out to reps for Biermann and Zolciak for comment but has not heard back.

This isn't the first time Biermann has requested to legally part ways with Zolciak. In April 2023, the couple both filed to dissolve their marriage nearly 12 years after tying the knot. However, two months later, Zolciak, 46, had the case dismissed, according to documents obtained by E! News at the time.

As Biermann's lawyer explained to E! in a July 2023 statement, "The parties are dismissing their divorce action and attempting a reconciliation."

But the reconciliation didn't seem to stick, as just two months later, Biermann refiled paperwork to end his union with the reality TV star in the Fulton County of Georgia, per documents obtained by E!.

And while the exes have yet to publicly address the third court document—which Biermann filed in a new county to accommodate where his ex now lives—Zolciak has gotten candid about how she's been coping amid their messy breakup timeline.

"I haven't been dating anyone or anything throughout this whole process," she told E! News in July. "Just focus on the kids and myself and falling in love with Kim again, doing things for Kim."
