Kylie Minogue Set To Launch Huge Comeback, First Single From 16th Album To Drop Later This Month

Word on the deep musical streets is that international pop princess Kylie Minogue is set to release the follow-up to Disco later this year. Not only that, but she's also ready to embark on a huge comeback, including an arena tour in the UK.

"Kylie has finally finished the album and and is now raring to go with her return to music." said insiders. "It's being kept under lock and key and hardly anyone at her label has even heard it."

There's also word that she will launch the album's first single, which is being described as "classic Kylie" ahead of her 55th birthday on May 28.

According to insiders, Kylie worked on the song with producer Lost Boy, who has worked with the likes of Dua Lipa, Becky Hill, Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding and Ava Max.

Rumored song titles that she worked on for the album are When You Love Someone, Tension and Hold On Now as well as an expanded version of Dutch DJ Oliver Heldens' single 10 Out of 10.

As for the album's upcoming sound, Kylie has described the album as a "pop-dance exploration," and revealed "I can't give too much away, but there's some 2000s electro, nineties house, and what I like to call emoto-pop."

Over in the US, La Minogue is set to headline 103.5 WKTU's KTUphoria festival at Jones Beach on June 17th. More performers are set to be announced, but as of this writing Kylie is set to be joined by top Billboard dance divas Deborah Cox, Kristine W and Ally Brooke.

Released in 2020, her 15th studio album DISCO topped the UK charts and saw Kylie become the first female artist to land a No.1 in five consecutive decades.

With Kylie performing during pride month in Long Island, NY, I hope she decides to do another tour of the US like she did back in the day as a thank you to her American fans.
