Lady Gaga appears to be hard at work on her next album!

On Thursday night, the "Bad Romance" singer, 37, shared a series of black-and-white photos on Instagram that appeared to signal new music was on the way.
In the first post, Gaga posted an up close, out-of-focus image of herself clutching her blond ponytail and flaunting her peace sign tattoo with a simple "🖤" as the caption.
The second post features the pop star leaning over a piano in a white button-down blouse and a black vest with the caption "👹."
The third one features two photos of Gaga — the first is an image of the singer crouched on her bed next to a keyboard, while the second shows her hunched over next to a computer monitor in what appears to be a studio — with the cryptic caption, "Tik tok tik tok."
Last month, the "Joanne" performer posted two photos on Instagram from the recording studio, teasing fans who have been waiting for new music from her.
In the post, Gaga posed in an oversized sweater and a dramatic pair of platform black boots that nearly reached her knee with a pair of headphones over her ears. The second photo featured a guitar and a percussion instrument.
She captioned it , “🖤🎶,” and her fans couldn’t contain their excitement in the comments, as they hoped the photos indicated a new solo release from the 13-time Grammy winner.
In the last few years, Gaga has shifted her focus to her acting career, which began with 2018’s A Star Is Born. She then starred in House of Gucci in 2021 and is set to make her debut as Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker in Folie á Deux.
The movie, set to premiere in October, is a sequel to the 2019 Oscar-winning film, Joker, which saw a struggling stand-up comedian turn violent and prompted a city-wide riot in Gotham. Joker: Folie á Deux is billed as a musical thriller.
However, amid her acting pursuits, Gaga has maintained her music presence, recently collaborating with the Rolling Stones on their Hackney Diamonds album. She's featured on the band's gospel-tinged single, “Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” which dropped in September,
Gaga released her last album Chromatica in 2020. The house-inspired LP became her sixth consecutive No. 1 album and featured her record-breaking collaboration with Ariana Grande, "Rain on Me."
No word on if Gaga is going to give the Monsters The Fame/Chromatica-esque pop tracks, or another jazz album, but at this point of her career I'm curious - does Gaga have the same musical impact at this point of her career as she did during her debut?
