Milo Yiannopoulos’ Black Husband Accuses him of Shocking Racism, “Enslavement” & Abuse

Milo Yiannopoulos was in the middle of a nasty court battle with his estranged husband, John Campbell, before he was taken into ICE custody ... and alleged texts show Milo texting some nasty things ... and a lot of it is racial.

John McKinley Campbell, the 42-year-old estranged husband of anti-LGBTQ+, ex-gay, MAGA provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos, has accused Yiannopoulos of violence and racist abuse during their nine-year marriage, according to divorce court filings cited by the British tabloid The Daily Mail.

Yiannopoulos — who was recently deported from the US to his home country of Britain — has denied Campbell’s claims, calling them “fabrications and manipulations designed to extract millions of dollars from me.” He also accused Campbell of having a “mental health crisis” for which he blames Yiannopoulos.

Campbell and Yiannopoulos married on September 30, 2017 at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in Hawaii; they stayed married for nine years. The marriage helped Yiannopoulos get a green card, an identity document giving a foreign national the right to live and work in the US, though Yiannopoulos reportedly had to renew the card every two years.

In a 2021 video, Yiannopoulos allegedly filmed himself throwing his $150,000 engagement “sodomy stone” into the ocean to prove he’s now ex-gay. The couple filed for divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court in January 2025.

Screenshots in Campbell’s divorce court filing reportedly show a February 2025 text message in which Yiannopoulos allegedly wrote to Campbell, “F**k you. Stupid worthless [n-word]. I hope you rot in hell with your m**key ancestors…. I was only using you for a Green Card in the first place.”

Campbell’s court filings reportedly describe the marriage as “enslavement, not matrimony,” and accuses Yiannopoulos of shoving him several times, throwing a lamp and other objects, and threatening to beat, poison, and kill him, The Daily Mail reported.

An August 21, 2023, text message allegedly sent to Campbell by Yiannopoulos insinuated that the latter expected obedience from the former for financing their pampered lifestyle. The alleged message said, “I pay. You obey…. Get used to it if you want your carefree lifestyle to continue.”

The couple reportedly lived in a $7.5 million hilltop mansion with four “supercars” in its driveway. The couple reportedly enjoyed five-star vacations to luxury properties in New Jersey, Virginia, and Los Angeles, as well as designer Louis Vuitton clothing and wagyu steak dinners, the aforementioned publication reported.

Campbell called financial abuse Yiannopoulos’ “calling card,” and accused him of ordering Campbell to leave their marital bed to sleep in their basement — which had neither air conditioning nor plumbing — so that Yiannopoulos could start sleeping in the bed with a “model.”

“In September 2025, [Yiannopoulos] locked me out of our marital home and revoked access to funds for everyday living, rendering me utterly homeless for a period of over 90 days,” Campbell claimed.

Yiannopoulos denied Campbell’s claims, calling the text message screenshots included in court filings “forgeries.” Yiannopoulos called Campbell’s accusations of violence “fantastical and false,” and claimed to have given $5.5 million to Campbell in gifts and financial assistance. Yiannopoulos accused Campbell of being “in the grip of a mental health crisis” for which he “wrongly and regrettably blames” Yiannopoulos. Yiannopoulos said Campbell is using domestic-violence and family-court proceedings to win more money in their divorce case.

Yiannopoulos once served as an intern for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and is known for his sexist, transphobic, homophobic, and racist statements.

While Yiannopoulos rose to fame with the MAGA movement and Gamergate, he is not a US citizen and was born in Kent, England, before coming to the US in 2017 on an O-1 visa, a temporary work visa reportedly granted for his specialized work as a political pundit.

During his time in the US, he promoted white supremacy and attacked trans people and women. His harassment campaign against Black actress Leslie Jones led to his ban from Twitter.

He later fell from grace with the right-wing movement after he made statements in which he claimed that child sex abuse can be “perfectly consensual” and a positive experience for the victim. He converted to Catholicism and announced that he was no longer gay. In 2024, he became associated with the presidential campaign of Ye (formerly Kanye West) at a time when the rapper was openly supporting Nazism.
