*The carefully curated image of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys‘ blended family is facing its most serious public challenge yet. Jahna Sebastian, the mother of Swizz Beatz’s 17-year-old daughter Nicole Dean, has taken to her social media with explosive allegations against the music power couple.
In a series of emotional posts surfacing around March 13–15, 2026, Sebastian accused Swizz Beatz (born Kasseem Dean) and his wife Alicia Keys of contributing to their daughter’s alleged substance abuse and parental alienation.

Mother Alleges Drug Exposure During U.S. Visits
Sebastian, a London-based singer who shares Nicole with Swizz Beatz, claimed that her daughter became addicted to drugs and vapes while in her father and stepmother’s care during visits to the United States.
In a since-deleted but widely screenshotted Instagram post, Sebastian wrote:
“Do you think it’s ok to hit your mother? In the name of money, fame and drugs? She said she hates me, my mom, my friends. Nicole got addicted to drugs and vapes in the US while in their care. This is why she is acting like this. It’s not normal teenage stuff.”
She specifically named Alicia Keys in her allegations, suggesting that the Grammy-winning singer personally uses substances and that her brothers allegedly introduced Nicole to vapes.
“Why there is no blend? Because they do everything the opposite way. I say no vapes, weed and edibles. They make them available. Alicia uses them herself. Her brothers got her hooked on vapes. I say detox from social media detox from the phone. They give her the fourth secret phone. I say study. They take her to parties and yachts and she doesn’t study.”
A Complicated Co-Parenting History
Sebastian and Swizz Beatz dated briefly in the early 2000s after meeting in London. Nicole was born in May 2008 and currently splits her time between her mother in the United Kingdom and her father in the United States.
Swizz Beatz married Alicia Keys in 2010. Together, they have built what they’ve often described as a harmonious blended family, raising five children total: Swizz’s three from previous relationships—Prince Nasir Dean (25), Kasseem Dean Jr. (19), and Nicole (17)—plus their two sons together, Egypt Daoud Dean (15) and Genesis Ali Dean (11).

Physical Altercation and Pleas for Help
According to Sebastian, the situation escalated to a physical confrontation where Nicole allegedly hit her, which she described as crossing “the biggest line.”
Sebastian shared what she claimed was video evidence of her daughter pulling out a pre-rolled joint and a vape pen, alleging the items belong to Keys.
In another emotional post, she wrote:
“I’m trying to save her from further destruction. I’ve spoken to her dad so many times about it. They ignore everything. They speak to Nicole and make me look like a villain to her.”
She continued, making a reference to another celebrity tragedy:
“If you have to go public to save your child from drugs you should instead of your child spiralling out of control and publicly dying from an overdose in a bathtub like Whitney Houston’s daughter.”
Claims of Court Order Violations
Beyond the substance abuse allegations, Sebastian accused Swizz Beatz of broader patterns of parental alienation and disregard for court-ordered arrangements, including bringing Nicole to school late.
Sebastian also suggested that the family’s wealth and power have made it difficult for her to protect Nicole through proper legal channels, implying that going public was her only remaining option.
Mixed Public Reaction
The public response has been sharply divided.
Some users expressed sympathy and called for court intervention. One commenter on Lipstick Alley noted: “Yes she should take it to court, but also Swizz and Alicia are both richer and more powerful than her.”
However, others questioned the wisdom of airing such sensitive family matters publicly. One user commented: “Trying this in the court of social media… will only further alienate her from her daughter.”
Some skeptics pointed out that marijuana and vaping are legal in some U.S. jurisdictions, though Nicole is a minor. Others suggested the daughter might have accessed substances independently.
Past Tensions and Current Silence
Sebastian claims this is not a new issue, sharing that she has spoken to Swizz Beatz repeatedly over the years.
“We had a nine hour talk recently, I told him over and over again,” she alleged.
She also shared screenshots from 2019, claiming years of threats and harassment.
As of this publication, neither Swizz Beatz nor Alicia Keys has issued any statement responding to the allegations. Their representatives have not commented on the record.
Protecting a Minor’s Privacy
Nicole, as a minor, deserves privacy during this difficult time. What’s clear is that a family’s private struggles are now playing out on a very public stage, with a 17-year-old girl caught in the middle.
For now, the internet watches and waits to see whether this social media storm will blow over or escalate.
This is a developing story. EURweb will update as more information becomes available.
