“Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum NeNe Leakes is not shocked by Kenya Moore’s recent exit from the Bravo reality series following the latter’s sex poster scandal.
“I don’t know if I was surprised,” Leakes, 56, told E! News Friday.
“I know that, over the years, Kenya has always pushed the envelope a little bit.”
Leakes — who appeared on “RHOA” from Season 1 in 2008 to Season 12 in 2020 — went on, “Listen, those girls do a lot of things. I don’t think I’m surprised at all.”
Though the ex-Bravolebrity has engaged in her fair share of cast feuds, she said she’s in touch with Moore, current stars Porsha Williams and Drew Sidora, and fellow alums Phaedra Parks, Shereé Whitfield and Marlo Hampton.
“We’re not talking every day,” Leakes told the outlet, “but when we see each other, there’s no beef. There’s no hard feelings. Actually, we laugh about it.”
Now that Williams has returned to the show for Season 16, Leakes wants Parks — who currently stars on Bravo’s “Married to Medicine” — to make a comeback, too.
“‘Housewives’ is where the viewers know her from, and to me, if she was going to be on any platform, it should be on the ‘Housewives’ platform, not ‘Married to Medicine,'” Leakes explained.
“I think Phaedra would be a good addition again.”
Page Six broke the news early last month that Moore, 53, had been suspended indefinitely from “RHOA” after she shocked party attendees at her salon grand opening with blown-up images of newcomer Brittany Eady allegedly performing oral sex.
We were told cameras were rolling at the Season 16 cast event and that an investigation was subsequently launched.
“My life is blessed. Myself and my daughter will continue to thrive in a non toxic environment where we feel appreciated and most importantly, protected,” Moore said in a statement after her departure was revealed.
“Thank you God for covering us. 🙏🏾.”
Earlier this week, Page Six confirmed that Parks, 50, is negotiating a return to the series following Moore’s exit.
Parks — who was on “RHOA” from Season 3 in 2010 to Season 9 in 2017 — is in talks with the network about filming for the current season.
Moore, for her part, began her journey on the show in 2012’s Season 5.
