Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize Team as Nine Inch Noize for Collaborative Album

Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize have teamed up as Nine Inch Noize for the collaborative album “Nine Inch Nails – Nine Inch Noize,” releasing on April 17.

The project was confirmed via a new Instagram post from Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize that reads: “NINE INCH NOIZE • HALO 38 • APRIL 17TH • PRE-SAVE NOW.” The “Halo 38” specifically stands for the label that Nine Inch Nails use for each of their projects, with the new Nine Inch Noize album serving as the 38th release in their discography. A new billboard teasing the album is also being erected on the route to Indio, California, where Coachella takes place. “Nine Inch Noize. Album Out 4.17.26,” it reads.

Not much is known about the project, but Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and Alex Ridha (Boys Noize) already have quite the collaborative history. They first joined forces for Challengers [MIXED], followed by their collaborative soundtrack for TRON: Ares; in addition to performing a debut set together at the film’s premiere, Nine Inch Nails also revealed the remix album TRON Ares: Divergence with several Boys Noize edits.

Boys Noize also opened for Nine Inch Nails during their “Peel It Back” tour last year. During that tour, Reznor and Ross would travel to a B-stage in the middle of the show to perform with Boys Noize, who did live remixes of some of the group’s tracks. Some fans are speculating that those remixes could end up on “Halo 38.”

Nine Inch Noize will take the Sahara stage at Coachella on Saturday, April 11th and Saturday, April 18th, moving from their original Friday slot. If you’re looking to see Nine Inch Noize in all their glory at Coachella 2026, last-minute tickets are still available; get them here.
