Ra'Jah O Hara Calls Out Favoritism On Canada's Drag Race: Canada Vs The World

If there's one thing we've learned about Ra'jah O Hara is that she isn't afraid to speak her mind.

The season 11 and All Stars 6 queen, who is currently among the top four on Canada's Drag Race: Canada Vs The World recently appeared alongside eliminated queen Vanity Milan at Roscoe's Tavern in Chicago, a queer bar that hosts Drag Race viewing parties that you can watch on YouTube.

It was there that season 8 alum and All Stars 8 contestant Naysha Lopez asked, “Did you guys at all feel there was any favoritism? We discussed this with Icesis [Couture] and she did. She said she felt there was, and that it really f*cked with her.”

“I don’t want to say that they were playing favoritism,” O’Hara explained, “but there was a little bit of some favoritism. One time I actually had to speak out about it. So it was kind of, like, it made me feel really uncomfortable.” She added, “I wouldn’t say it was favoritism towards anyone on this stage.”

While Ra'Jah didn't get into specifics most likely due to strict gag orders the queens who compete have to sign, I do think it's kind of obvious that because the show they're competing on is in Canada that they're referring to Rita Baga as the one getting favored over other queens, since she is the only Canadian queen left.

Couture, who quit the show to work on her mental health revealed in a prior episode of Roscoe's that production asked her to join the show to 'help...keep the title in Canada,' even though her own doctor advised against her going back on TV.

I've been hearing rumblings that the top two queens will be Silky and Ra'Jah, so if this does turn out to be true, the favoritism was for nothing.

The Grand Finale of Canada's Drag Race: Canada Vs The World airs Friday, December 23 on WOW Presents Plus.
