Robert Downey Jr. and Pedro Pascal switched Marvel identities for Halloween. Downey dressed as Pascal's Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic, while Pascal took on Doctor Doom, the villain his costar plays in Avengers: Doomsday.

With less than two months left on the Avengers: Doomsday clock, Robert Downey Jr. and Pedro Pascal swapped sides for Halloween.

The pair traded off their MCU roles in a paired costume, with Downey dressing as Pascal’s character Mr. Fantastic and Pascal as Downey’s Dr. Doom, ahead of the movie’s Dec. 18 premiere in theaters.

“Victor. Richard. Costume swap!” Downey captioned the video on Instagram.

Following the events of last year’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Avengers: Doomsday sees the multiverse collapse, forcing heroes from multiple Earths to unite against Doctor Doom (Downey).

Also returning are Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing after making their MCU debut in First Steps.
