On Friday 5 June, the “27 Club” singer and former Drag Race finalist was performing at PrideFest Milwaukee when she stepped backwards off the stage, and fell to the ground.
After toppling off the stage and falling a couple metres to the floor, the 35-year-old star remained on the ground for a few seconds, before lifting her head.
Despite looking in pain, Adore was eventually assisted by an event team member and hoisted back onto the stage.
She continued performing for a few seconds on her knees, before clambering to her feet and continuing.
In a new TikTok video posted yesterday (8 June), Adore addressed the fall, and reassured her fans that she is recovering.
“Let’s talk about the fall that happened at Milwaukee PrideFest a couple of days ago. I know it’s all over the internet,” she started the video.
“People have been asking me if I’m OK, if I’m bruised up. The answer is yes, I am OK, and yes I am bruised up.
“I hit my head a little bit. I took blows to the ribs. The majority of the pain was in my ribs. The problem with that is I’m a live singer. I did lay there for a second because I had to catch my breath. I had the wind knocked out of me,” she continued.
Adore went on to say that her sobriety may have helped prevent the injury from being worse than it was.
“I do owe it to sobriety to be honest, because I feel like if I was still drinking and this happened, I probably would’ve knocked out and blacked out or something,” she said.

Adore Delano opened up about her sobriety as she came out as a trans woman back in July 2023.
“I’m a professional. I’m a vet,” the star continued in her video.
“She will get up, she will finish her 30 minute set, and come back an hour [later] and give you a second set.”
The music superstar then explained a little about how the accident happened, telling her fans that she didn’t see where the edge of stage was as she “wasn’t paying attention”.
“It happens to the best of us. It feels pretty gnarly, but I survived,” she rounded off.
Her TikTok comments have since been flooded by well-wishers, with one commenting: “Girl I was literally boutta jump the barricade to come check on you. I just saw your hair flying over the edge and then you disappeared. So glad you’re okay!”
Since her appearances on Drag Race season six in 2014 and All Stars 2 in 2016, Adore Delano has been largely focussed on her music career.
She is also currently in a relationship with fellow trans musician and former The Voice star, Sasha Allen.
