Selena Gomez attended Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour at MetLife stadium over the weekend, but as rising discussions swirl in a post Covid world about concert etiquette, La Gomez found herself on the receiving end of some backlash where fans felt she was ‘disrespectful’ for watching the Knicks vs. Pacers playoff game on her phone while watching Beyoncé live.

The Only Murders in the Building actress, 32, appeared to be in attendance at Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter show at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday (May 25), joining a legion of celebrities who've already enjoyed the hitmaker's tour.
Dressed up in a Cowboy Carter branded cowboy hat, Selena posted a series of snaps from the concert… but one particular image left fans reeling.
Watching the performance from a very empty suite, Selena uploaded a picture of a phone screen which was showing the Knicks take on the Pacers.
'Still got my eye on the game,' she captioned the snap, which had been added to her Instagram Story.
Some were outraged by Selena's actions and blasted her for not 'appreciating' the Beyoncé gig and even went as far as hinting that she didn't want to be there.
Complaining on Reddit, one said: 'Not surprised. Rich people can't appreciate things because they've destroyed the pleasure center of their brain from getting what they want all the time.
'Selena will never know an ounce of the happiness I felt in the cheap seats.'

'Only time I watched something on my phone at a show was the one time I didn't want to be there at all,' another said.
However, many defended Selena and understood her motive given that the Knicks have not reached the NBA Finals since 1999.
One said: 'I live in NYC and plenty of my friends who went to the Cowboy Carter show last night also had the game on their phones… I'm not a basketball fan but apparently it's been a big deal.'
'In fairness the last time Knicks won a championship, Beyoncé wasn't born,' another wrote. 'So let fans enjoy two things.'
A third added: 'Don't think it has a thing to do with her being rich. It's a societal problem of all of us having constant access to what we want on our phones.
'Every time I go to concerts people are scrolling too and we're in the nosebleeds.'
'This is supposed to be a problem?' asked another. 'It's the playoffs!'
'Yeah I'm a huge Beyoncé fan and a soccer fan,' a fifth continued. 'I also wouldn't do it at her concert but come on lol. Sometimes if it's an important game, it's hard to resist having it on in the background of whatever you're busy with.'

On Sunday, the New York Knicks beat the Indiana Pacers 106 – 100 in game three of the conference finals.
They will face off against the Pacers once again tonight.
It's a huge time for the Knicks who are still in with a chance of winning the 2025 NBA Championships. They have not won an NBA championship since 1973.
Beyoncé has attracted heaps of celebrities to her Cowboy Carter tour, which kicked off on April 28.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were spotted dancing the night away at her SoFi Stadium performance in California earlier this month.
CBS Mornings host Gayle King also saw the Grammy-winning artist at the same stadium, alongside her pal Oprah Winfrey.

I've worked Knicks games and people will have football or baseball games playing at the same time. I've worked baseball games and people will have basketball games on.
I would find it rude if this was happening during a Broadway play or in a movie theater. But with the current playoffs, people just want to be in the moment and are just keeping up with the score.
I will say this: It's hard to defend Selena in this case when she photographed herself in the back of a suite watching the Knicks-Pacers game. It just looks like she was there just to say she was there, but wasn't really into the concert.
