Sinners has been the hottest movie ticket at the box office for the past two weeks — and it's starting to get on Sherri Shepherd's last nerve.

Sherri Shepherd knows this all too well, as the daytime talk show host jokingly complained she's had a difficult time finding a ticket for director Ryan Coogler's vampire thriller.
"It's still hard to get a ticket for the movie, and I'm gonna show y'all. This is what the theater looks like right now in New York. It is pretty much sold out," Shepherd, 58, said while showing her audience a seating chart for a Sinners screening with just a few open seats left. "This is at 10 o'clock on a Wednesday morning."
"Does anybody have a job over here?" Shepherd jokingly asked her audience.

Sinners sees Michael B. Jordan play twin characters Smoke and Stack, whose attempt to open a nightclub in their 1930s Mississippi hometown goes violently sideways when a vampire is attracted to the venue's music.
Shepherd said while she did initially got to see the film at a private screening, she loved it so much she went for a second viewing — but due to the film's growing popularity, viewing times are far and few between.
"I had to go on a Monday at 11:30 in the morning because everything was sold out over the weekend," Shepherd said. "Still, even going at 11:30 in the morning, I had to sit right up in the front row looking up."

The film made $55.8 million in its opening weekend and continued to find success with audiences in its second weekend when it made another $45.7 million at the domestic box office.
Jordan took to Instagram to share his excitement for the film's growing success on Sunday, April 27, writing, "Words can’t express the gratitude that I feel for everyone and the outpour of love for our film!! it’s a crazy feeling to know how many of you have showed up and continue to support this film. This is why we make movies and love watching movies on the big screen. It brings people together!!"
"I'm speechless. I'm proud. I'm happy. I'm blown away by the outpour of love and support and I just want to say thank you," Jordan said in a video that he posted as well.
"Thank you to everybody who bought some popcorn, who bought a ticket, who got a babysitter, who pulled up and showed love to Sinners this past week," the actor continued.
"We set out to do something, to tell a story, to be honest, to bare our souls as best we can in the work that we do. So on behalf of the entire cast and crew, and the creatives, I want to say thank you to all the fans, I just want to say thank you."
Sinners is in theaters now.

I know she's joking, but girl you live in New York City. People work all kinds of hours here. Plus with you working in TV, you just had the entire cast on your show. You couldn't ask Ryan Coogler for a screener?
Plus if you're interested in seeing the 70mm IMAX version, Sinners will be back in nine select IMAX theaters from May 15 to May 21.
