The ancestors wasted no time coming for Slayyyter's throat, because the pop singer shared on Instagram that doctors ordered two weeks of full vocal rest and medication to prevent permanent damage, affecting shows in Warsaw, Prague, Berlin, and London for her *Wor$t Girl in the World* tour.

In an Instagram story viewed by Pitchfork, the pop singer wrote, “I am heartbroken to share after multiple doctor visits i have laryngitis and vocal cord tears,” adding, “Because of this, i am forced to cancel the remaining UK/EU dates to avoid permanent damage to my voice.” Among the scrapped Wor$t Girl in America tour stops are Copenhagen, Hamburg, Warsaw, Prague, Berlin, Antwerp, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Brighton, and London. Slayyyter has promised full refunds to fans and is “already working on rebooking shows for next year.” Opening act Kalika expressed distress over the sudden news while stranded abroad with gear in the tour bus, calling it the biggest opportunity of her career.
