Spice Girls Reunite — Minus Victoria Beckham — at Mel C’s Wedding to Model Chris Dingwall

Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm got married to Australian model Chris Dingwall on Saturday (July 18) in a private ceremony in the British countryside. According to British Vogue magazine, Chisholm, 52, known as “Sporty Spice” during her Spice Girls days, wore a simple, white floor-length gown while holding a bouquet of wildflowers during the nuptials at the Country House Cumbria in the Lake District.

It wasn’t a full Spice Girls reunion at Mel C’s wedding, but it’s still Spice World forever.

Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, still affectionately known as “Sporty Spice” to fans, wed her partner of three years, Australian model Chris Dingwall, in a tasteful ceremony at The Country House, in Cumbria, England on Saturday. Melanie “Mel B” Brown, Emma Bunton, and Geri Horner, formerly known as Geri Halliwell, were all in attendance at the lakeside nuptials, as captured by photographer Andrew Timms.

Though the absence of Victoria Beckham, the fifth and final Spice Girl, was notable, it wasn’t for lack of love between Sporty and Posh.

This weekend saw the climactic finale of the 2026 World Cup. Though the final game in which Spain triumphed over Argentina took place on Sunday, the Beckham family had a major reason to support England in its third-place face-off against France on Saturday.

David Beckham, Victoria’s husband of over 25 years, led the English team to World Cup tournaments in 1998, 2002, and 2006. Though he never won while on the team, England did win against France on Saturday, taking third place in the 2026 World Cup.

Victoria may not have been physically present to support her fellow “Wannabe” singer, but her presence was felt. The noted fashionista turned fashion designer was the creative mind behind Chisholm’s stunning wedding dress.

“I was actually having dinner with Melanie and asked her what she was up to,” Beckham told British Vogue on Sunday. “She very casually told me she was leaving for Australia in two days and getting married! When I asked what she was wearing, she mentioned she had actually ordered one of my dresses but that it didn’t quite fit, and she didn’t have time to get it altered before leaving.”

“I happened to have that exact dress in my own wardrobe and offered to lend it to her,” Victoria explained.

Chisholm met Dingwall, a model and producer, on the dating app Raya in 2023.

“I was 49 when I met Chris, and I was in a really good place. We had a date in Australia, and it’s been difficult to separate us ever since,” she told British Vogue. “He’s been such a beautiful addition to mine and my daughter’s life. Because, you know, I’m a single mum. My daughter is 17, and we’re pretty resilient the two of us, we’re a team. For anybody coming into our world… it was going to be tough, and he just fits perfectly.”

Before meeting Dingwall, Chisholm was romantically involved with property developer Thomas Starr. They were together for 10 years, during which, Chisholm gave birth to their daughter, Scarlett Starr. She then was in a relationship with her manager, Joe Marshall, from 2015 to 2022.
