The long-running series, which aired for 15 seasons and concluded in 2020, will shift to other platforms shortly after it leaves its current one. Warner Bros. Television confirmed the transition as part of the show’s upcoming streaming changes, noting that viewers will still be able to access the full series without a gap.
All 15 seasons of Supernatural will leave Netflix US on December 18, 2025, with the final day to watch being December 17. The show originally premiered on The WB and later The CW from 2005 to 2020, spanning 327 episodes. Starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, the series follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester as they battle paranormal entities across the country. It has been available on Netflix since 2014, with the final season added in 2020.
Netflix confirmed the show’s departure in late 2025, along with Arrow and The 100. Warner Bros. Television produced Supernatural, which streams with English and Latin American Spanish audio and subtitles. Netflix issued removal notices in November 2024 and January 2025, indicating a possible license renewal that ultimately did not happen.

The show has already secured new streaming homes. According to the official December 2025 release schedules, Supernatural will become available on Prime Video starting December 1, before its removal from Netflix. All 15 seasons will also be added to Peacock on December 22 (via What’s On Netflix). It is not yet confirmed whether the series will be on Peacock’s premium or ad-supported tiers.
Unlike other CW series owned by Warner Bros. Television, which have yet to find new streaming platforms, Supernatural will not face a gap in availability during its transition. The show’s move to Prime Video and Peacock ensures continuous access for subscribers. Details regarding the length of its streaming availability on either platform remain undisclosed.
