Tank Responds After Durand Bernarr Claims Singer Blocked Him Over Vocal Shade

R&B’s latest social media moment came courtesy of Durand Bernarr and Tank, and fans were seated for every note.

It all started when Durand appeared on the Joe Budden Podcast where he discussed the difference between being a heterosexual man and a "straight" man. The conversation then shifted to Durand talking about how he was blocked by Tank after criticizing his vocal abilities.

Recounting the shady exchange, Bernarr joked that the ‘Money I Deserve’ singer “started it” after suggesting singers who couldn’t tackle Tevin Campbell’s ‘Can We Talk’ in the original key weren’t “real R&Bs singers.”

Tank, however, took to social media to clear things up, writing:

“@durandbernarr I don’t know you to dislike you. What i do know is that you’re incredibly talented. What you don’t know is that i support and defend you but we’ll save that for later. If i did block you it was because you were talking sh*t.. At least be honest..”

Durand hit back with the following comment:

“Broseph I’m down to talk and squash it cause there’s genuinely NO beef on my side.”

In closing Tank replied:

“Good to hear.. See you soon.”

I'm glad Tank and Durand ended up worked things out (via FaceTime), and who knows maybe they can collaborate on a song together. Last but certainly not least, Tevin Campbell had to check someone online after they said Tevin can't even sing his own song anymore.
