A tenant has been evicted after being caught having sexual intercourse on their apartment balcony, according to reports in April 2026.

A Thread user recently hopped on the app to defend their cousin, who is now searching for a new place to live after being evicted for engaging in adult activities outside on the balcony. Sharing the notice informing their family member that they must vacate the property by April 24, they wrote, “So my cousin is getting evicted for having intercourse on her balcony! How tf can they evict someone for having $3xx on their mf balcony that they pay bills at ! Also why is the neighbors not minding they mf business smh.”

However, according to the notice, this may not have been a one-time situation, as management claims there have been multiple complaints not just from neighbors, but also from people passing by the unit.
