The Rumored Cast for Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale is Fierce

The expansion of the RuPaul Cinematic Universe continues apace with the announcement of Drag Race: Philippines: Slaysian Royale, and we have simply never been more seated in our entire lives.

With RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 underway, Drag Race UK Vs the World season three coming soon-(ish) and Drag Race France All Stars not far off either, we’ve got enough Drag Race to go round, right?

Wrong. Because Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale, a new version of the ‘vs the World’ format was announced in March, bringing together a mystery cast of all Asian All Stars for the first time.

In a press statement, Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, who founded RuPaul’s Drag Race production company World of Wonder, said: “This new version of Drag Race shines a spotlight on Asian drag as never before, celebrating its culture, its history and creativity in a unique battle royale.”

And the Nancy Drews of drag have been investigating, mama, to help decipher which queens from the wider Drag Race Runiverse might have suspiciously disappeared from in-person gigs and social media for a prolonged period of time.

As with any article of this nature, this list is subject to change – but for now, here’s the rumoured cast for Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale, including only one queen from the flagship franchise, a Drag Race UK OG and, heartbreakingly, no Jujubee or Joella.

Arizona Brandy – Drag Race Philippines, season 2

One of five queens from Slaysian Royale‘s host nation, Arizona Brandy won her split premiere challenge on Drag Race Philippines‘ second season, and made it all the way to the final – just losing out on the crown to Captivating Katkat.

She was only in the bottom two twice, proving that she’s also a fierce lip-syncer. One to watch out for.

Bernie – Drag Race Philippines, season 2

From the same season as Arizona, Bernie has her beat on challenge wins, but not placement, making the finale but placing in third/ fourth.

Bernie won her split premiere on season 2, then picked up another challenge win for a makeover task later in the season, only lip-syncing once. The Philippines are bringing it hard, honey.

Brigiding – Drag Race Philippines, season 1

All the way from the inaugural season of Drag Race Philippines, Brigiding came in sixth, and though she didn’t manage to nab a challenge win, she was one of the lip-sync assassins of the season.

Brigiding was part of the season’s only double shantay and a firm fan favourite. Think ‘robbed queen/ eliminated too early’ archetype.

Ivory Glaze – Drag Race Down Under, season 3

The only representative from Australasia’s Drag Race spinoff, Dutch-Chinese Australian diva Ivory Glaze from season three is rumoured to be repping for Down Under after she placed ninth during her first Werk Room runthrough.

Ivory also passed out just before she was due to lip-sync against Rita Menu, marking the only time in Drag Race herstory that a lip-sync happened at the start of the subsequent episode. Slay.

Khianna – Drag Race Philippines, season 3

Though Drag Race Philippines (possibly) has five representatives on Slaysian Royale, Khianna is the only diva from season three on the cast.

She was a runner up, though, and picked up a challenge win along the way. She also received the ‘Golden Balut’ twist from her castmates, indicating her popularity not just with the judges – but her castmates, too.

Kitty Space – Drag Race France, season 2

Season two Drag Race France diva Kitty Space is here to take us to the moon, if the rumours are true, having come in ninth on her first go around.

The Vietnamese-French Kitty came out as trans following her time on the show, and if we know anything about living your authentic life, it’s that the Miss Congeniality will now be even fiercer competition.

Madame Yoko – Drag Race Belgique, season 2

The only representative from Drag Race Belgique, Madame Yoko lasted three episodes before getting the boot on season 2.

The Vietnamese-Luxembourgish queen was the first queen in the entire franchise to be from Luxembourg – and if the rumours are true, we can’t wait for a return.

Siam Phusri – Drag Race Thailand, season 3

Siam Phusri from Drag Race Thailand‘s third season is originally from San Francisco, and was eliminated in seventh place during the most recent edition of the franchise.

The queen handcrafts her own costumes and is a fierce performer – but she was eliminated during the season’s Rusical challenge.

Sum Ting Wong – Drag Race UK, season 1

A Drag Race UK OG, Sum Ting Wong is also rumoured to be appearing on Slaysian Royale, bringing some much need BDE (British Drag Energy) to the Philippines.

This British Vietnamese icon placed 7th against powerhouses like the late Vivienne, Divina De Campo and Blu Hydrangea, and will forever be known as part of the chaotic group that kicked off Drag Race UK.

Suki Doll – Canada’s Drag Race, season 2

Placing ninth on Drag Race‘s up north spinoff, Suki Doll is (allegedly) repping Canada in Slaysian Royale, and though she was sent home relatively early, she did snatch the title of Miss Congeniality.

This doll is one to watch out for in design challenges, having designed and made many of Brooke Lynn Hytes’ looks for her turn behind the judging panel.

Viñas Deluxe – Drag Race Philippines, season 1

Viñas Deluxe was eliminated just one episode before Brigiding on the first season of Drag Race Philippines – with a challenge win under her belt.

The Filipino performer is a triple threat, and would be a fearsome competitor competitor if the rumoured cast list for Slaysian Royale true – and she’s responsible for one of the franchise’s best looks ever.

Yuhua Hamasaki – RuPaul’s Drag Race, season 10

The only diva on the Slaysian Royale cast from the flagship franchise that started it all, Yuhua Hamasaki first appeared on season 10 of the show, and placed 12th during Aquaria’s victory run.

Though she didn’t win a challenge, and is the lowest placing queen on her original season on this spinoff, Yuhua has made her mark on the franchise with her Bootleg Opinions review shows and trademark humour. Ankh, ankh!

Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale is set to air on streaming platform WOW Presents Plus later in 2025.
