The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour isn’t set to wrap up until next year, but the singer-songwriter has already grossed over $1 billion from the series of concerts.
The stadium tour kicked off in July 2022, after it was postponed following the COVID-19 pandemic, and has continually evolved ever since. He’ll wrap the tour next year with dates in Mexico, Brazil, Europe and the UK, and the general sale of those dates has cemented the tour as the top-earning male solo artist tour in history.
The tour has sold over 7.5 million tickets, grossing over $1 billion across 153 shows. The leg of performances across North America in 2025 alone boasted over 40 sold-out dates and broke several records for their respective venues. He was named the top-grossing Black male artist in the history of venues in several cities, including New York, Montreal, and Houston. He also broke the record for most shows by a male solo artist on a single tour in his hometown of Toronto, thanks to his six performances at the Rogers Centre.
Initially planned to start in 2020 in support of his album After Hours, the tour finally kicked off in 2022 and also supported that album’s follow-up, Dawn FM. Thanks to the arrival of his 2025 album Hurry Up Tomorrow, he was provided with a fresh slate of material to work with on the most recent American and Canadian leg of the tour.
The news comes not that long after the Weeknd purchased a $54.9 million estate in Miami that has enough room to host a megayacht. The waterfront residence includes eight bedrooms, a 1.24-acre lot, and a dock. He also owns a mansion in Bel-Air, California, which served as the fictional residence featured in the series The Idol.
