A week after serving us a Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special over on Disney+ ( if you haven't seen it, check it out because it is hilarious), Marvel has unleashed the trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.
Not only did the trailer have me laughing out loud straight out the gate, but it also looks like Gamora's (Zoe Saldana) death in was short-lived (unless what we're getting is a multiverse Gamora).
The final chapter in the Guardian's franchise will also explore Rocket Racoon's origin story, and gold-colored super being Adam Warlock (Will Poulter), who was teased during the post-credits scene in Vol 2 will have a much bigger role.
In the comics Adam Warlock is a powerful artificial being who is supposed to kill the Guardians, but from the looks of the trailer the main villain seems to be Rocket Raccoon's creator the High Evolutionary, played by Chuckwudi Iwuji.
Written and directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 Stars Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Groot, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, and Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha. Also joining the film is “Borat 2” star Maria Balakova, who plays Cosmo the Space Dog.
