VIDEO: LIL NAS X- THAT’S WHAT I WANT

Lil Nas X has treated us not only to his debut album Montero (which is excellent, BTW), but the Out artist has also unleashed the visual for his latest single That’s What I Want.
The video features Nas as a football player getting hot and heavy with his teammate, played by his rumored boyfriend Yai Ariza. Then we encounter a Brokeback moment that takes quite an interesting turn.
The video concludes with Nas walking down the aisle in a wedding dress yearning for someone to love him, and a surprise cameo from Billy Porter.
What I loved about the video is that it explores black love, and something we encounter in our community more often than we realize – which is two guys having passionate sex, but secretly have a wife and child.
