“Abbott Elementary” actress Janelle James and “Heated Rivalry” star Connor Storrie revealed this year’s nominees on Netflix’s YouTube channel on Wednesday after an introduction from SAG-AFTRA President Sean Astin.
This marks the first year that the ceremony is called the Actor Awards, a change announced in November, made to better align with the award show’s iconic statuette and celebrate the labor union behind it.
The awards ceremony will stream live on Netflix on Sunday, March 1, at 8 p.m. Eastern. The host has yet to be announced.
SAG-AFTRA will also honor acting legend Harrison Ford at the ceremony, presenting him with the Life Achievement Award.

Film snubs include Cynthia Erivo for “Wicked: For Good,” Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt for “The Smashing Machine,” and Adam Sandler and George Clooney for “Jay Kelly.” Erivo’s co-star Ariana Grande got nominated.
The entire “Sentimental Value” cast — Elle Fanning Renate Reinsve, Stellan Skarsgard, Elle Fanning and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas — did not get nominated.
In addition, all foreign-language movies and performances, including Wagner Moura and his film “The Secret Agent,” were shutout.
Snubs on the TV side include Adam Scott for “Severance,” Carrie Coon for “The White Lotus,” Jeremy Allen White for “The Bear” and Kathy Bates for “Matlock.”
