Ariana Grande shocked her fans today when she took to social media to announce that she will be releasing her sixth studio album this month.

She has been teasing fans with snippets of tracks she’s been working on here and there on Twitter and Instagram, and while her last album Thank You, Next came out in February 2019, she has remained on our musical radar.

With “Rain On Me,” her collaboration with Lady Gaga, Grande became the first and only artist to have debuted four singles at the top of the Hot 100.

We have no idea what’s the album’s title will be, which producers she’s worked with, or what it sounds like, but I sincerely hope that since she’s on the closer side of 30, the album will have a more mature sound, and she’ll leave those mediocre teen bops on the back burner.
