BILLY EICHNER’S QUEER ROM-COM BROS GETS NEW RELEASE DATE

Billy Eichner‘s upcoming gay romantic comedy Bros is moving. Originally scheduled for August 12, Universal has announced that it is now being moved to September 30, a slot formally occupied by Paramount’s Mission Impossible 7.

This cones after it was recently announced that M:I7 would be moving to July 14, 2023, a move I’m still pissed about because I was really looking forward to seeing the seventh film this year.

Bros is billed as “the first romantic comedy from a major studio about two gay men maybe, possibly, probably stumbling towards love. Maybe. They’re both very busy.”

Bros has an all-LGBTQ+ principal cast, making it truly one of the gayest movies of all time. Eichner is starring, and also co-wrote the script with director Nicholas Stoller. He’ll be joined by Luke Macfarlane as his love interest, Amanda Bearse, Harvey Fierstein, Bowen Yang, TS Madison, Symone, Miss Lawrence, Guillermo Diaz, and Guy Branum.
