Britney Spears, 44, has the Internet buzzing after teasing a possible performance with her youngest son, Jayden — but insiders say there’s no tour on the horizon. Sources tell me Jayden has been spinning a fantasy, and Britney is completely buying it.
Spears recently gushed on Instagram that she hoped to be touring the U.K. and Australia with her son, Jayden, “very soon.”
But Rob Shuter reported in his Naughty But Nice Substack on Friday, January 16, that the 19-year-old — who was mostly raised by his father, Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline — “is fooling her” by “spinning a fantasy” that is unlikely to happen.

“Jayden keeps telling Britney they’re going to perform together, and she’s completely buying it,” a source told Shuter. “She’s so proud of him and trusts what he says, but there are zero tour dates, zero bookings. It’s all talk right now.”
No one is even trying to make it happen either, another insider added, even though the “Toxic” singer, who wrote on Instagram in 2022 that she was “pretty traumatized” from her years of being forced onstage throughout her controversial 13-year conservatorship, “wants to perform again.”
She would never make her announcement and “put herself out there unless she felt it was real,” another source confirmed. “That’s why people close to her are cautious — she’s believing this is happening because Jayden says it is, but nothing is actually booked.”
