The Full House actress and current Special Forces star will appear as a guest on the Nov. 13 broadcast, 10 years after she left the permanent panel in 2016 and two years after her last appearance as a guest in 2024.

Bure, 50, joined the panel in 2015, before leaving the following year after making numerous headlines for her conservative views, which she’s continued expressing in subsequent years.

Bure recently told Entertainment Weekly she declined an invitation to return for the show’s 30th season as it conflicted with her daughter, Natasha Bure, giving birth.

“They did reach out to me, and they offered me the week that my daughter gave birth, so I knew that was coming,” she said. “I didn’t want to be far away and miss anything, but I’m definitely open to it.”

Bure added that she’s “still going to think about” whether she’d return to her former workplace. “Yeah, you might see me at the table. We’ll see,” she said.

When EW pointed out that, judging by past interviews, her openness to returning is a marked difference from her past comments about the show, she replied, “True, true. ” “I don’t know that I really want to do it, but I am open to it,” she added. “Listen, I just did Special Forces. I could probably go on The View again.”

Bure’s conservative social and political views have courted controversy in recent years, particularly in 2022, when the ex-Hallmark staple said her new holiday movie network home, the religiously tinged Great American Family channel, would not focus its new holiday projects on LGBTQ love stories as others, like Hallmark and Lifetime, have in the past.

She also made headlines for a public clash with queer personality JoJo Siwa, who called Bure the rudest celebrity she’s ever met.

Other former cohosts have discussed potentially returning to The View in other ways. Rosie O’Donnell said on a podcast over the summer that she’d return to the table after EW learned that current panelist Ana Navarro approached her with an informal invite at O’Donnell’s Common Knowledge stage show.

“That’s above my pay grade. I just sit at the table. I don’t do the bookings,” Navarro later told EW when asked for clarification.

The View airs weekdays on ABC.
