Cardi seemingly had jokes when she responded to an X user who shared a petition titled “Urge Cardi B to Release Her Sophomore Album.” She playfully replied:
“I’m seriously scared of y’all… and I’m upping my security.”
Cardi’s fans have been waiting for the follow-up to her Grammy-winning 2018 debut, Invasion of Privacy. While she’s teased the project multiple times over the years, she’s admitted it’s faced repeated delays due to feature hold-ups, sample clearances, and more.

As much as I love Cardi, I don't feel no ways tired whether or not she decides to release new music. It's been seven years since her debut, and music fans for the most part have moved on to other female rappers.
When the day comes that she finally releases album number 2 I'll check it out.
