‘Dancing With the Stars’ Cast: Jenna Dewan, Julia Stiles, Tatiana Ali, Ciara Miller, Harry Shum Jr and More Join Season 35 — Plus, Which Pros Are Back?

Fresh off its historic 34th season, which saw a record number of viewers tune in to see all the high kicks, heel turns, and reverse fleckerylls, Dancing With the Stars has finally dropped its full season 35 cast list — and it’s a truly star-studded affair.

On Wednesday morning, the celebrity and pro partners were revealed for the Emmy-nominated reality competition, including multiple reality breakout stars, athletes and actors.

It also includes Jenna Dewan and Harry Shum Jr., both of whom have extensive dance backgrounds; Dewan began her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, has hosted “World of Dance” and “Flirty Dancing,” and served as a judge on “Come Dance with Me.” Shum Jr. has performed as a backup dancer for Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey.

On the pro side, last year’s winner, Witney Carson, will return — and dance while pregnant — with Guillermo Rodriguez. This season marks a big return for another pro dancer, Sharna Burgess, who will re-join the cast for the first time since 2011. She competed for 14 seasons total and won once. This season, she’s partnered with Tyler Cameron. Additionally, “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” winner Adele Zaikman joins the cast and will dance with Conner Leavitt.

New to the pros this year is Hailey Bills, who was a troupe member last year. She will be half of the second-ever same-sex partnership, dancing with Sarah Jane Nader.

All the pairings were announced on “Good Morning America” on September 2. See the full list of the pairings below. The new season of “Dancing with the Stars” kicks off with a live two-night premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Wednesday, Sept. 16 on ABC and Disney+.

Tatyana Ali

Tatyana Ali, who shot to fame as a teen as Ashley Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, will dance with junior pro Jan Ravnik. Ali is Harvard-educated and Broadway-trained and most recently appeared on several episodes of Abbott Elementary. She becomes the second Fresh Prince alum to grace the DWTS ballroom after Ribeiro won season 19.

Tyler Cameron

Tyler Cameron, best known as the runner-up on season 19 of The Bachelorette, will dance with Sharna Burgess. Cameron was on his way to a professional football career before an injury took him out, but since being selected as Bachelorette Hannah Brown’s runner-up, he has appeared on Saturday Night Live, The Real Dirty Dancing, and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. He has big shoes to fill, as Brown won season 28 of Dancing With the Stars.

Giada De Laurentiis

Beloved celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis joins the DWTS season 35 cast with pro partner Alan Bersten by her side. The granddaughter of Italian super-producer Dino De Laurentiis, Giada studied as a pastry chef at Paris’ famed Le Cordon Bleu before breaking out as a Food Network star. Chefs aren’t common casting choices on DWTS, but Paula Deen, who won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle/Culinary Show Host the year before De Laurentiis, placed ninth on season 21.

Jenna Dewan

Jenna Dewan, who rose to fame as a professional dancer before breaking into Hollywood as an actress, has been partnered with three-time winner Val Chmerkovskiy. The star of series like Supergirl and The Rookie, Dewan has perhaps the biggest advantage over her contenders, having danced backup for the likes of Missy Elliott and Janet Jackson, as well as hosted and judged series like World of Dance and Come Dance With Me.

Ezra Frech

Ezra Frech, a track and field athlete who has competed in two Paralympic games and earned two gold medals for his efforts, will strut the ballroom with season 34 standout Daniella Karagach. Frech also works as a motivational speaker and disability rights advocate, having been born without most of his left leg and several fingers.

Amber Glenn

Amber Glenn, another Olympic star who took home the gold at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games with the American ice skating team, will dance with Pasha Pashkov. Ice skaters have a phenomenal history on the series, with Kristi Yamaguchi winning season 6, Apolo Ohno winning season 4, and Adam Rippon winning the all-athletes season.

Taylor Hanson

Mmm-bop! Taylor Hanson of the iconic boy band Hanson has been paired with pro Britt Stewart. Rumors of a Hanson brother’s participation had been rumbling for weeks before the official announcement came. The middle Hanson brother is the first member of his famous family to compete on the series.

Maura Higgins

Maura Higgins, the prolific reality star who memorably lost to Rob Rausch on season 4 of The Traitors, is set to dance with DWTS vet Mark Ballas. Landing Ballas gives Higgins a real advantage, not just because he’s taken three of his partners to No. 1, but because he just came off a season judging DWTS: The Next Pro, meaning his craft is as sharp as ever. Ballas’ recent experience pairs perfectly with Irish TV personality’s gameplay skills, finely honed across appearances on series like Cooking with the Stars and I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Conner Leavitt

Conner Leavitt, known best as the husband of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star and DWTS season 34 alum Whitney Leavitt, has been partnered with newcomer Adele Zaikman. Whitney’s career after four seasons on Mormon Wives took off thanks to DWTS, landing her roles in Broadway’s Chicago and Just In Time. Conner aims to take the Leavitt household all the way to No. 1 on DWTS.

Ciara Miller

Ciara Miller, best known for her six-season run on the Bravo reality series Summer House, will compete for the Mirrorball with Brandon Armstrong. Miller became a Summer House breakout this year when her friend and costar Amanda Batula began secretly dating their mutual costar — and Miller’s former flame — West Wilson.

Sarah Jane Nader

Sarah Jane Nader from the Freeform reality series Love Thy Nader will dance with DWTS newcomer Hailey Bills. Nader is best known as the sister of reality star Brooks Nader, who competed on season 33, placing ninth.

Jackson Olson

Jackson Olson, the second baseman for the exhibition baseball team the Savannah Bananas, has been partnered with season 24 winner Emma Slater. Olson was announced as a competitor in May, becoming the first exhibition baseball player to do so. But there’s decent precedent for veterans of the sport, as Chicago Cubs catcher David Ross placed second after Slater and Rashad Jennings in season 24.

Guillermo Rodriguez

Guillermo Rodriguez, the longtime sidekick of Jimmy Kimmel on his long-running late night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, will dance with season 34 winner Witney Carson. Carson recently referred to the comedian as “the Andy Richter of the season. You know? He’s gonna be the people’s prince, for sure.”

Harry Shum Jr.

Grey’s Anatomy star Harry Shum Jr. will compete for the Mirrorball alongside two-time winner Jenna Johnson. Shum arrives in the ballroom with one of the most impressive acting resumés of the bunch with credits as Mike Chang on Glee, as Chad in Everything Everywhere All at Once, and most recently, as Dr. Benson Kwan on Grey’s Anatomy.

Julia Stiles

The undisputed star of Dancing With the Stars season 35, Emmy nominee and American sweetheart Julia Stiles has been paired with relative newcomer Ezra Sosa. Within the context of DWTS, Stiles is best known for her lead role in 2001’s Save the Last Dance, but her career encompasses both acting and directing roles, as well as film and TV parts, such as 10 Things I Hate About You, Silver Linings Playbook, Jason Bourne, and most recently, The Lake.

Connor Wood

Podcaster Connor Wood will compete with Rylee Arnold, who recently appeared on the penultimate episode of Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro. Wood is a stand-up comedian who hosts the award-winning podcast Brooke and Connor Make a Podcast alongside Brooke Averick.

Dancing With the Stars season 35 has its two-night premiere on Sept. 15 and Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, with new episodes streaming on Hulu and Disney+ the following day.
