‘Dumbass’ Justin Timberlake Ignored Warning Minutes Before DWI Bust — From Same Cop Who Ended Up Arresting Him

Law enforcement sources now claim that not only was the pop star advised to stay off the road, he was warned by the same officer who later arrested him, according to The New York Post.

A local law enforcement source told the outlet that the Cry Me a River singer was initially stopped by police just minutes before his arrest on Tuesday morning.

“He was stopped and advised not to drive,” the source reportedly said on Timberlake, 43.

“The officer didn’t recognize him; he’s a young guy. And he still gave Justin a break, because he didn’t pose an immediate danger.”

The source claimed the officer thought the stop "was the end of it" and that the singer would "get a ride home."

The officer reportedly went on to patrol a different area and only "several minutes later," saw Timberlake again.

“What a dumba**,” the source told the outlet.

“I am thinking he could afford a driver. How’s that for entitlement?”

The Grammy winner was arrested just after midnight on Tuesday after leaving the American Hotel in Sag Harbor on Long Island, New York.

He was allegedly spotted swerving and driving through a stop sign when the arresting officer pulled him over.

During the stop, Timberlake was asked to perform a number of field sobriety tests.

Court documents indicated that the singer performed "poorly."

He was also asked to blow into a breathalyzer, which he declined.

Timberlake was then arrested and taken into custody.

He was arrested at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court and released without bail.

Timberlake has been charged with one count of driving while intoxicated.

In the days following Timberlake's arrests, fans have turned his legal troubles into cash by creating merchandise with his public mugshot.

In the photo, the Trolls star has a serious, yet glassy-eyed expression on his face.

Several sellers on Etsy, an e-commerce website known for homemade products, have begun to print the mugshot on shirts, glasses, and more.

TMZ reported that some have printed the photo alongside quotes from Timberlake's songs including Cry Me a River.

Others have poked fun at his song SexyBack with one shirt reading, "I'm bring tipsy back."
