The crowd at Sunday's Jonas Brothers concert in Dallas, Texas, got the surprise of a lifetime when Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane strutted out onstage for their first performance as a group since announcing a hiatus in 2018.
Fifth Harmony, excluding original member Camila Cabello, showed off their choreo skills as though no time had passed. Emerging from smoke in matching all-black outfits, the group sang their hit singles "Work From Home" and "Worth It," marking their first time onstage together in seven years.
Sharing footage of the performance to Instagram, the group thanked the JoBros Nick, Kevin and Joe for the invitation, writing, "Felt amazing to be back."
In a separate comment, Brooke added, "That was special!"
Prior to the surprise performance, some fans knew to be on high alert. Earlier that day, the Fifth Harmony X account teased a possible reunion by posting for the first time in seven years. "#FifthHarmonyFollowSpree," the post read, sparking immediate speculation.
Since taking to the stage again, the group has released new merchandise and updated their social media bios with the slogan, "Where were you on August 31, 2025?"
Teasing more to come, the group also joined the Hybe-owned fan platform, WeVerse, to connect with fans. In their welcome message, all four members appear on camera in matching outfits from their concert performance and encourage followers to leave them a message, noting, "We'll chat with you all soon."
The group also got some love from the Jonas Brothers, who recreated a TikTok trend to celebrate the reunion. The video sees Nick and Joe sitting side-by-side at the concert venue, when Nick says, "Do you think they'll play 'Work From Home' by Fifth Harmony?'
Kevin responds, "No, this is a Jonas Brothers concert." The video then cuts to the girls rehearsing their big number onstage, proving him wrong. In the caption, the JoBros added that it was "an honor" to have the group join them onstage.
Fifth Harmony was discovered on the U.S. version of The X-Factor in 2012, after auditioning as solo artists and being put together by judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and Britney Spears. The girls ultimately placed third but still garnered a sizable fanbase, allowing them to launch their debut album Reflection in 2015 to massive success. Cabello left the group a year later, launching her own solo career while the other four stuck together, continuing their success with the self-titled album, Fifth Harmony.

In 2018, the quartet announced an indefinite hiatus with the intent to "pursue solo endeavors." At the time, they left the door open for a possible reunion, telling fans, "In doing this we are allowing ourselves to gain new experiences, strengths and perspectives that we can bring back to our Fifth Harmony family."
Since the split, each member has indeed released at least one EP and several singles, with Normani also delivering her long-awaited album, Dopamine, last June.
The Jonas Brothers are in the midst of their 20th Anniversary tour, Jonas20: Greetings from My Hometown, celebrating a new album and 20 years since the brothers first formed their band.
Each stop has seen the band bring out a new special guest, including Lovato, Switchfoot, Jesse McCartney, Dean Lewis, All Time Low, the Click Five, Hanson, Cartel, Hoobastank, JP Saxe, Alessia Cara, Glen Powell, Chris Carrabba, JoJo, and Russell Rickerson.
