FRANK OCEAN TEAMS UP WITH INDIE STUDIO FOR DIRECTORIAL DEBUT

Singer/songrwiter Frank Ocean is ready to channel his inner-Speilberg.

Word on the Hollywood streets is that Ocean is in talks of linking up with indie studio A24 to write and direct his first feature film.

A24 is behind the hit films Men, Everything Everywhere All at Once, the HBO series Euphoria, and Moonlight, which Ocean wrote the forward for.

The Grammy-winning artist, who is set to headline Coachella next year is looking to start shooting in New Mexico this fall with filming set to wrap before 2023.

Ocean has expressed his love for filmmaking in the past, having directed the visual album Endless, which he also wrote.

Should everything work out (and I have a strong feeling it will), he’ll be collaborating with new indie production company 2AM which produced the A24 queer horror film Bodies, Bodies, Bodies.
