'Greedy' Ryan Seacrest's 'Lonely Life' Exposed — How Workaholic TV Mogul is Sacrificing Friends and Love for Career and Cash

Ryan Seacrest's old American Idol teammate and friend, Simon Cowell, revealed that they no longer speak and according to insiders he's not alone because the longtime host is self-obsessed and has driven away most of his old pals, earning him the crummy rep as Hollywood's loneliest celebrity.

He’s considered Hollywood’s loneliest celebrity, and there’s a reason why. Ryan Seacrest has never been married, has no kids, and, according to some insiders, no friends either. Apparently, his obsession with work and fame has driven a wedge between him and nearly everyone he knows personally.

As a result, it appears that me, myself, and I are among the only people Ryan has time for in his eyes. Throughout much of this century, Ryan has served as an on-air host in various capacities. That includes game shows to reality TV and daytime talk shows. Even the likes of Simon Cowell, his former colleague on American Idol no longer speaks to Ryan. Aparently it’s because of his supposed self-obsession.

Ryan Seacrest is “far too busy for a social life,” claims an insider

Fame and fortune can come at a cost, and that’s something Ryan may be discovering. When you have a schedule as demanding as his, it doesn’t allow you with much time for anything but work. “Ryan is far too busy for a social life,” an insider told RadarOnline.

Ryan rose to fame as the host of American Idol, a role he still holds to this day. In addition, he replaced Pat Sajak as host of Wheel of Fortune, while he still hosts a morning radio drive-time show. He also still serves as a host for the New Year’s Eve specials in Times Square. That’s just a small sample size of the number of gigs Ryan has done throughout this century.

Even with all the work he’s done, Ryan has had some famous relationships with the likes of former Playmate Sarah Jean Underwood and Julianne Hough. Those have ended, and according to reports, a personal life appears to be all but impossible for Ryan. Even with everything he’s got on his plate, Ryan reportedly wants to officiate the upcoming wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

According to Simon, the former idol judge, Ryan is obsessed with fame, making that his first and only priority. Insiders say that, besides his family, Ryan has no time for anything else but work.

The silver lining, if you’re Ryan, is that you’ve been a household name for years and have built up quite a fortune. The TV host is reportedly worth a whopping $500 million.
