Janet Jackson And Louis Farrakhan’s Son, Mustapha, Spark Dating Buzz

Janet Jackson is no stranger to headlines, but her latest public appearance has sparked a new wave of curiosity online.

Janet Jackson has been spotted out with a new man, and he isn’t just any ol’ Tom, Dick, or Harry. The superstar singer has been spending time with Mustapha Farrakhan, the son of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and the NOI’s supreme captain.

Most recently, the two were spotted vibing out at the New Edition/Toni Braxton/Boyz II Men concert in Detroit. This isn’t the first time the religious leader and singer have been spotted out. In fact, they’ve been seen on several occasions over the past year, but they haven’t confirmed their relationship status. Both Jackson and Farrakhan are reserved people, so we won’t hold our breath waiting for them to confirm or deny anything.

Whether they’re dating or not, Jackson has a track record of dating powerful men. Her ex-husband is billionaire and businessman Wissam Al Mana, who also happens to be a muslim. They secretly wed in 2012. They have a son together named Eissa and split three months after he was born in 2017.

Prior to him, she was married to René Elizondo, Jr. from 1991 to 2000. The “Scream” singer told Ebony in 1993 that he was her “best friend.”

“When I first met him, I was going through so much and I would call him and I would cry on the phone. We were best friends.” Although she thought he was the one, it ended up not being the case.

The artist’s first marriage was to James DeBarge, whom she married in 1984 at the age of 18. The union allegedly fell apart within a year because of his drug use.

As for Farrakhan, his wife, Karen, died in 2024 at the age of 63, and during their multi-decade marriage, they raised five children together. In 2020, Karen suffered a cardiac arrest, which she sadly never fully recovered from. In the time leading up to her death, Farrakhan stepped in to care for his late wife, according to a celebration of life document.

“I’ve never seen a husband care for his wife like Mustapha and his children. He did an outstanding, marvelous job. He learned a little bit about nursing,” student Minister Ishmael wrote.

If these two powerhouses are dating, we wish them luck. But it looks like they’re already enjoying one another’s company.
